Silent Hill Transference,

The game silent hill is reflected much in the film. Through use of sky view angles similar to that of the game. Use of "Areas" and mapping created by bus stop dot map. Much like a game.

The very props are reminisent of traditional inventory items of a horror survival game.
A tourch, lighter ect.

The film uses ambience like the siren followed by the groaning industrial sounds that create a tense atmosphere. Sounds very similar to extracts show from game earlier in lesson. While when it is real world ambience is minor to no existant, except for the traditional jingle.

Camera's use of 3d panning and ability to move like a in game camera.

The actors movement is very rigged and alot more like a game characters.

Monsters very inhuman in their qualities with no face or reaction unlike most films, more monstrous entities that can exist in multiple numbers of the same thing.

Use of claustraobia because of low light items or at times the mist. With lots of traveling but little note worthy action more relying on paranoya it creates and viewer much like a survival horror is absorbed into it.

Alot of low high angle motiefs. And long sequences where tension is created through feeling anything can happen at any second. In sence a game can bring.

Swooping camera movement from dutch angle into action as the police woman engages monsters in street is reminisent of action game genre
